WITCHES WALK & BROOM DANCE

We’ll start the evening with a pre-meet at Mudita Café for a witches brew, then stroll to the newest little green space at Ocean View Beach Park (First View entrance) which the Sea Hags affectionately call GREENIES GRAVEYARD.

There, we’ll share a short story followed by our spirited Broom Dance, a fun community performance inspired by the world-famous Wolfshäger Hexenbrut dancers. Afterward, we’ll invite the audience to join us for a spooky audience participation freestyle dance, then we’ll have Selfies with the Sea Hags and a short Witch Walk Parade around the promenade — complete with glow stick “wands” and a few treats for any little ghouls who wander by.

It’s all about celebrating the season, our Ocean View neighborhood, and the joy of dancing together. No vendors, no tickets — just local fun under the moonlight in our new community park.

 Schedule:

6:00 PM – Meet-up at Mudita Café for brews & concoctions

7:00 PM – Dancing at Greenies Graveyard, Ocean View Beach Park (First View entrance)

7:30 PM – Photos + Candy + Witch Walk Parade (with glow sticks)

8:00 PM – Optional social hour at De Rican Chef for Sea Hag martinis & enchanted bites

The OV Sea Hags are a community-based amateur dance troupe founded in Norfolk, Virginia. They are the first and only group in Coastal Virginia officially recognized as an affiliate of the original Wolfshäger Hexenbrut in Germany.

Comprised of women of all ages and backgrounds, the OV Sea Hags share a mission to spread joy, laughter, and connection through creative expression, performance, and community spirit.
